JAC 10th Board 2024: Girls Lead with Top 3 Spots!
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) unveiled the eagerly awaited results of the Class 10 exams for 2024 on April 19. This year’s pass rate stands impressively high at 90.39%. The announcement was made during a press conference held at 11:30 am, and students can promptly access their scores via the official website, jacresults.com, once the link becomes active.
The examinations took place over a span of three weeks, from February 6 to 26, across 1,238 examination centers spread throughout the state. However, for those students who may not have performed as well as expected, the JAC is strategizing to implement tailored improvement schemes on a district-by-district basis. This initiative aims to analyze schools comprehensively to identify areas of improvement and subsequently enhance overall performance.
A notable highlight of this year’s results is the marked increase in the number of students securing a place in the top division, now standing at an impressive 54.20%. The achievement of these students underscores their dedication and hard work throughout the academic year.
Among the top achievers, Jyotsna Jyoti claimed the first position with an outstanding score of 99.2%, securing 496 out of 500 marks. Following closely behind is Sana Sanjuri, who secured the second position with an impressive score of 98.6% (493 out of 500). The third position is shared by Karishma Kumari and Sristi Somya, both achieving a commendable score of 98.4%.
For students eager to access their results via SMS, the process is simple: send a text message with the format ‘RESULT JAC10 Roll Code Roll no’ to 56263. Moreover, this year’s results reveal a notable gender disparity, with girls outshining boys once again. The pass rate for girls stands at an impressive 91%, surpassing the rate for boys, which stands at 89.70%.
East Singhbhum district emerges as the top-performing district with an outstanding pass rate of 94.075%, showcasing the dedication and commitment of students and educators alike in the region.
In total, 4,18,623 students appeared for the examinations, out of which an impressive 3,78,398 students successfully passed, culminating in an overall pass percentage of 90.34%. These results not only reflect the academic prowess of the students but also the collective efforts of teachers, parents, and educational authorities in nurturing and guiding the youth towards success.
