🛠️ Job Description:
The R&D team at Siemens EDA is looking for a motivated and skilled software engineer to help develop state-of-the-art power analysis and optimization solutions. As part of this high-impact team, you’ll work on designing, developing, and maintaining advanced EDA software features that serve industries globally.
You’ll be collaborating with Application Engineers and Marketing teams, ensuring the product reflects real customer needs. Working closely with product validation teams, your solutions will undergo detailed testing before deployment.
This role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for learning — especially around evolving HDL languages and low power design methodologies.
🚀 Responsibilities:
- Specify, design, develop, and maintain software solutions
- Collaborate with AE and Marketing teams to understand customer requirements
- Build innovative, high-quality solutions with the R&D team
- Coordinate with the Product Validation team for thorough solution testing
- Work in an international, dynamic, and collaborative environment
🎯 Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelors/Masters in EEE, ECE, or Computer Science from a top engineering college
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in software development
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Understanding of HDL languages: Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog
- Familiarity with low power synthesis methodologies and power formats (UPF/CPF)
- Knowledge of scripting languages and version control systems like Perforce
- Strong analytical, abstraction, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
➕ Good to Have:
- Prior experience in EDA software development
